Immaculately clean rooms with luxurious decor create a comfortable atmosphere. The breathtaking views from each room, like the Rothay suite's panorama of Helm Crag, offer a serene escape that leaves you wanting more.
The space around the toilet in the Double Room, Wordsworth felt cramped, which might be an issue for some. Wi-Fi signals lack consistency in the rooms, making it a nuisance if you need solid connectivity.

Staying in the Rothay room was a delightful experience, with stunning views of the Lion and the Lamb, and an immaculately clean, tastefully decorated space featuring a comfortable bed and high-tech bathroom. The fresh coffee bags and quality toiletries added thoughtful touches. The honesty bar in the guests' lounge created a cozy atmosphere, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. Breakfast was exceptional, particularly with the perfectly scrambled eggs and fresh fruit salad, but access to more sandwich options would have been appreciated.

We had a wonderful three-night stay, enjoying the beautifully presented double room and the warm hospitality of Jacqui and Keith, making us feel right at home while we explored the nearby Alock Tarn, just a short 1 km walk from the B&B, and took a stroll around Rydal Water, which is almost a 2 km scenic path away.

Stunning Views and Warm Hospitality
My partner and I had a delightful two-night stay in the Helm Crag room, where we were greeted with breathtaking views and impeccable cleanliness. The breakfast offered a lovely selection with high-quality ingredients, definitely a highlight of our mornings. Jacky, our host, went above and beyond to make us feel at home, ensuring all our dietary needs were met. The only downside was the size of our room, but it had everything we needed for comfort.

Best little getaway!
We spent 2 nights in a lovely double room with awesome views. Jacky, our host, was super friendly and helped us with hiking tips. The breakfast was delish, totally loved the honesty bar too! One downside was that the shower could use a bit more pressure, but overall, everything was perfect!

I had a fantastic stay at Raise View. The hosts, Jacky and Keith, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. The room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and offered stunning views of the fells and meadows. Breakfast choices were delicious and generous. it definitely set me up for the day. The location is perfect—just a short, scenic walk to the village and all the local attractions. The guest lounge was cozy, with a great selection of drinks at the honesty bar. Only downside was the Wi-Fi signal in my room. it could use some improvement for those who need to stay connected. But the charm of the place and Jacky's warm hospitality more than made up for it.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We loved the comfy Rothay room and the clean, spacious layout. The location is perfect for walks. We dined at the Jumble Room and Tweedies, both served amazing food. The owner was super helpful, accommodating our dietary needs. The breakfast spread was a highlight, especially the delicious smoothie and fresh fruit.
Only downside was the room switch. we had to change rooms after our first night, which was a bit inconvenient.
